Creatine Derivatives

Creatine is a natural nutrient found in our bodies and the bodies of most animals. Approximately 95% of the body's creatine supply is found in the skeletal muscles. The remaining 5% of creatine is scattered throughout the rest of the body, with the highest concentrations in the heart, brain and blood.

Creatine can be produced in the body from the amino acids arginine, glycine, and methionine.

Creatine plays an important role in the production of energy and in the process of building muscle tissue.

creatine increases muscle energy availability. The cells of our body store their energy in the form of ATP molecule. The amount of work our muscles can perform is a direct consequence of the amount of ATP they have stored as well as the ease with which ATP is regenerated.

Creatine enhances physical performance by increasing the number of times that ATP can be recycled during physical exertion without increasing the absolute amount of ATP stored within our muscles.

Creatine Forms
